Woo! What a week. There have been some ups and downs, but I'm almost done styling my Sumomo wig and I finished my Manga brooch!

Putting Sumomo up in a pony tail was a royal pain in the you know what, but it looks pretty good ^_^ . I've also styled the bangs. All that's left is to put the curl in the bottom of the pony tail.

For my Manga brooch I used model magic, spray paint, and pearl beads. I did deviate slightly from the original design but I really love how it looks.

Well... after some minor bodice based set backs, things are officially well on their way to being done. YAY! I'm about half way done with the embroidery... so I've got about 3 to 4 more days left on that. Once the fashion fabric for the bodice is done... all thats left will be to attach everything and style the wig! I even managed to revamp the hat so it looks better. Considering all the work I've put into this... I'm considering entering Sumomo for judging at Youmacon but I'm not 100% sure.
I ended up having to make a new base for my Manga brooch, but I think this one is even better than the other. I've also picked up some awesome spray paint that makes things look gold plated. I used it on the crescents for Dani's SailorMoon earings... which btw are done! I'm reeeeeeeaaaaally proud of them too! My new crescent moon wand is coming along swimmingly as well. All in all things are finally starting to shape up!
