And you're all invited!!! I'm the Volunteer and Activities Coordinator of the Salvation Army Chicago Harbor Light and we are holding a Luau for the community and anyone else who would like to come. This event is going to be HUGE. I should know... I planned it. There's going to be so much going on. Things such as:
* Polynesian Dancers
* Pig Roast with all the trimmings
* Body Gems
* Games and Prizes
* Door Prizes
... just to name a few.
The Luau is going to be held on August 18th at 1515 W Monroe St, Chicago IL 60607 from 5-9pm. I wouldn't recommend coming in cosplay, but if you want to dress to the theme... be my guest! Just remember to keep it 100% family friendly. Also, this is an alcohol free event.
