Being Salvation Army officers... my parents often have our corps members (nomral churches call them church members) come to them for guidence. One of our families has been going through some majorly rough times... the mom has some mental health issues, as do most of the children. They've also been going through a really bad financial crisis. Well... the mom came to see my Mom about signing her kids up for the Angel Tree Program (a program that collects toy donations then redestributes them to families who would otherwise not be able to provide anything for their children for Christmas). Well... she brought her little girl with her. This little one is only about 6, and got the short end of the stick when it came to mental problems. But she's still the sweetest, most well behaved, and cutest little thing I've ever met. Well... you know how you can just tell when a little kid sees something that they really really really like? How they just kind of sit there and stare at it all whide eyed. Well... BeDazzlers aren't things that we normally have donated. So, before they left I gave it to her Mom and asked that she give it to her for Christmas. I had to argue a little bit with her to get her to take it... but seriously. What am I going to really do with it? It's not something that I'd use that much, unless I was making a purse or something like that. And it's Christmas. Besides... who better to have a BeDazzler than a little girl who will probably BeDazzle everything in sight?
Let's see... oh! I finished my wax ring form for class. I'm handing it in tomorrow. If all goes well I should be able to sprue and invest by the second half of class. I really love my jewelry class, and I'm doing really well in it. It took a little while to get soldering down, but it's actually become one of my favorite skills. I also really like piercing. And no... I don't mean piercing such as ear piercing. Piercing is a term used to describe cutting out patterns or designs in the metal using a jewlers saw. The saw blades are tiny, and really easy to break... but once you get the hang of things, it's really fun. Hopefully I'll have enough money saved up to cast my ring in silver. It shouldn't bee too much... seeing as how silver has gone down and is only $9 and ounce. My ring shouldn't require more than 2 or 3 ounces so... *keeps her fingers crossed*
Looks like I am going to be able to go to Ohayocon after all. If I can get a hold of a bright red wig that goes down to atleast my mid back... I'll be able to premier my Kushina cosplay. Directionally Challenged might also be premiering our "Chipettes" cosplay as well. I'll probably also bring Takiko and Hinamori. And... seeing as how things go... I might just have my PGSM Princess Serenity done as well!
Business is so far going well. I've recieved a few more commissions, and the my first two are almost done! Almost no one has signed my guest on the website though, which makes me sad.
I finished making the Christmas presents for al of my friends last night. Took me most of the night, but I did it! *dances* Now I just have to wrapp them and mail out the one's that need mailed ^^
Not much else is going on... atleast that I can think of at the moment. The new Naruto chapter made me want to kick Kishimoto. And DAMN! BLEACH just keeps getting better. Anywho! I stole a cute litte quiz from Kelsie, so enjoy!

And the Bedazzler story is quite cute. That was very generous of you. BeDazzlers are probably a thing more appreciated by that girl, anyhow. ^_^
Looking forward to seeing your costumes at Ohayoooo~
Woo Ohayo!
I really admire you and your family with the kind charity :) you are good people! ^^
Glad you could get to Ohayocon, also :) and good luck with the commission business! ^^
You're very sweet Honey... but we're just doing the Lord's work. As Christians we're called to love and lend a hand to our fellow man. After all the Salvation Army was founded for just that purpose ^^ Three cheers for Booth!
